It's that time again – this November will see the fifth Classic Rock Roll of Honour. As always, our awards have two halves: the awards chosen by the magazine team – and the awards voted for by YOU.

Below is this year's shortlist for the reader-voted categories:
Best New Band, Album Of The Year, Band Of The Year, Reissue of The Year, DVD/Film of the Year and Event Of The Year. All releases are for the period August 08 – June 09: a period that saw major releases from some of the world of rock's biggest artists, as well as inspiring new releases from some new faces.
